Well the first day launch of our paper boats and planes was a bit of a flop. The idea of floating a boat down the streams of water at the park was overpowered by the desire to splash around in very large puddles. And when Phillip actually said the words "look" and "swing" I certainly wasn't going to deny him his activity of choice. My youngest daughter, 4, seemed quite entertained by watching me fly a few of the paper planes, tried a few of her own, but quickly ran to retrieve them and scrunch them up for the garbage. Mommy, as she saw it, was being a litterbug!!!!! But when she wasn't looking, I flew a few into the park as we were leaving.
Regardless, we had a wonderful afternoon at the parks, and walking along the paved trails behind Lancaster.
